AMT Volkswagen Scirocco T/A Champ Kit

I'd like to think I keep a pretty keen eye out on the latest and greatest model kits coming out so I'm not quite sure how I missed this AMT Volkswagon Scirocco T/A Champ kit.

Now, I'm not sure yet if this is new tooling or a re-pop of the 1978 2-in-1 VW Scirocco from years past (it does appear to have the same 'race car' bodywork) but we'll have to wait and see.

Anyway, let's check out the details of this kit.
